Yesterday, 23 September, we finally hosted the 2021 Italian Retail Sales Meeting at our headquarters in Castelletto Sopra Ticino (Italy), an unmissable event for our company, after months in which it was not possible to meet. The sector of wholesalers and retailers represents over half of our total sales volume and the salesmen, with whom we have a constant dialogue, are the backbone of this system.
However, after these two “particular” market seasons, the company did not stop but, on the contrary, it developed new product strategies in the short-medium term, especially in the thermo-hydraulic retail sector.
Quality and Retail
After the usual presentation of last season’s sales figures, we talked about Quality, one of the strong points of our history. IMIT was in fact the first company in the sector to obtain UNI EN ISO 9001 certification in 1991, renewed without any non-compliance also for 2021. In particular, we have shown the data of returns on the total number of pieces sold, a percentage that is around 0,022% due to our responsibility: an excellent result!
Sales policies and news
With regard to our sales policies, we have examined through the data collected which product families have been most successful and which will require more attention in the near future, including through the activation of promotions, rewards and benefits for our Customers.
This Meeting was also an opportunity to present to our sales force the news of the IMIT range: new thermostats and timer-thermostats, with particular attention to ease of programming and energy saving, also thanks to the recent agreement with OpenTherm and the possibility of using the its communication protocol on our devices, bringing them to Class V.

The Retail Sales Meeting is also an opportunity for IMIT to collect the first feedback on the new proposals, to listen to suggestions, requests from the market and to guarantee the final Customer the product that best reflects his needs.
